Terms of Service
The plain-language terms for buying, hiring and commissioning a Sahar Modesty gown.
Sahar ModestyModest occasionwear · made in AustraliaLast reviewed June 2026. This summary is written in plain language; the Sahar Modesty atelier confirms the specifics of your order in writing.
Pricing & GST
All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable. Bonds (refundable security deposits on hire) are not a taxable supply and are excluded from GST. We confirm the full price, including any shipping, before you pay.
Orders
An order is confirmed once payment (or the required deposit) is received and we acknowledge it. One-of-a-kind pieces are sold subject to availability at the time of payment.
Hire
Occasionwear may be hired for an agreed period with a refundable security bond. The bond is held (not charged) and released after a clean, on-time return. Damage beyond reasonable wear, or late returns, may be charged against the bond as set out in your hire confirmation. Formalwear is sale-only and is not available for hire.
Custom commissions
Custom gowns are made to your measurements and brief. A deposit secures your place in the atelier calendar and is credited to the balance. Because each piece is made only for you, the deposit is non-refundable once work begins; the balance is due before delivery. Custom pieces are not offered for hire.
Fit & alterations
Made-to-order and custom gowns include fittings to achieve the agreed fit. We are not liable for fit changes caused by significant change in measurements after final fitting.
Your consumer rights
Nothing in these terms excludes the guarantees you have under the Australian Consumer Law. If a gown is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a remedy as the law provides — see our returns policy.
Intellectual property
Designs, imagery and content are the property of Sahar Modesty. Commissioning a custom gown does not transfer rights to the underlying design.
