Before you begin

Ordering & sizing

From a first message to a gown cut for your proportions — how a piece moves from the collection into your hands.

How do I order a gown?

Browse the collection, then enquire on any piece — the atelier confirms availability, sizing and timeline with you personally. Secure online checkout for sale items is rolling out.

What sizing do you use?

Australian sizing is canonical (e.g. AU 12), with US/EU/UK conversions in our size guide. Made-to-order and custom gowns are cut to your measurements.

Can I see a gown before I buy?

Yes — fittings are arranged at the studio for made-to-order and custom pieces. For ready pieces we'll share detailed photos and measurements.

Modesty & fit

Coverage is specified, not suggested. What the model wears is the coverage you receive — and almost everything can be made more covered.

Is coverage guaranteed?

Yes. Every product lists its coverage level, sleeve density and lining, and the gown you receive matches what the model wears.

Can a gown be made more covered?

Almost always — necklines raised, linings added, sleeves lengthened — through our custom service.

How we answer

Hire, bonds & commissions

Worn for the day, or drawn for you

Hire & bonds

Occasionwear can be worn for your event and returned, with a refundable bond. Formalwear is the one exception — it is sale-only.

How does hire work?

Occasion gowns can be hired for your event with a refundable security bond. You wear it for your dates and return it; the bond is released on a clean return.

Can formalwear be hired?

No — formalwear is sale-only. Hire is offered on occasionwear (bridal, nikkah, engagement, henna).

Custom commissions

A commission is drawn to you over several weeks of beadwork and fittings, against an honest timeline and a deposit that holds your place.

How long does custom take?

Typically several weeks, depending on beadwork density and fittings. We give you an honest timeline against your event date before you commit.

Is a deposit required?

Yes — after your consultation we send a quote and a deposit link that secures your place in the atelier calendar and is credited to the balance.
